Totally exhausted... As I lay in bed last night, I thought today (3/7) would be a better day since it's a Monday and Mondays are usually not that bustling. True enough, it was a better day today. I have customers that kept flocking in! And there were only Doreen and me in the afternoon! Until Mabel comes down at about 4+pm. Even so, 3 people running a full house, it's still extremely short handed. And as usual, the phone likes to ring when I have a lot of drinks to do, and when everybody else is too busy to answer the phone. Today service really quite slow. And we had 2 tables of regulars (at least they are the ones that I recognise). Feel very bad to let them have such service. But fortunately both tables are very understanding, especially the lady that came almost every week to support us. The whole family is so nice and appreciative of what we do for them. It makes me very happy from within to see them come back everytime, and I'm glad they enjoy themselves each time. This is why I like my job, or this is why my job makes me feel happy and satisfied.

Night time was busy still but actually only one level full. I have no idea how come got so many cups to wash when I came down from the meeting. I was horrified! But night time was not as bad as day time. Except that I have drinks orders that came in with a huge order. But I was really very exhausted and drained by night time so I didn't really have much energy to work. Guess that's why I felt like service was also a bit slow, and it seemed busy. Again, I was wearing a very serious expression at night. *sigh* I really really got to kick this habit!! With this kind of expression, where got customers want to come? And they also won't feel happy being served by a host who doesn't smile at them. I did smile or at least tried to, but really no energy le... Felt like smiling so fakely... But anyway, it's over...

Another long day tomorrow. Hope I have level 1 fullhouse :) Although I'm really drained already. But really glad that business is good for these 2 days.
