I'm such a SPENDTHRIFT.

Suddenly I have a list of things to get.

1) Handphone (and new contract, encouraged by Mabel and Laurence). But.... Why is Sony Ericsson w700i and w800i so expensive?! *sigh* I like these 2 models leh.... But... $288 for 700i.. 800i price not available at M1 =( Should I....? Or should I not...

2) Glasses. Love that pair at Clementi!! OMG..... But... $160 ($200 for computer lens) for frames + multi-coat lens.. I've NEVER EVER worn a pair of glasses this expensive... I think my most expensive pair was around $100.. Not more than $120 definitely. Besides, I can get a pair of glasses done at about half the price at Henderson. If I can find a suitable pair, that is. If I were to buy such an expensive pair, I will make sure I take good care of it as well as my eyes so that I won't have to change glasses for the next few years. But, the thing now is, if I take good care of my eyes, the degree of myopia may drop! Today the optician told me it has gone down by 100 degrees from my current glasses'. My mum's theory: No school for 8 months, no studying, so less strain on eyes, thus decrease in degree. So.... Now that I've resumed my identity as a student, will the degree increase again after I make the glasses? Or will it decrease... SO vexed!! But one thing is, I can re-use the frame to make new lenses in future, if the frames are still in fashion. Oh no.... HOW?!

3) Swimming costume. But mine is still relatively new, worn barely 5 times! It's just that it's a bit.... flamboyant? The colour's too bright and it's flowery. No idea why I bought that piece then =S Should have stick to black or navy blue, the safest colours ever. But I seldom swim, so I can do without a new one. Besides, it's a waste of money to get a new costume like that.

*sigh* Hate to be in such dilemmas =(

On a lighter note, had a great time swimming with Waiyin today :) But really very sorry to make her go medium pool with me... 0.9m leh, lol~ I also find it a bit shallow. But big pool so crowded! And given my abilities, I can only swim the breadth, which is like going against the traffic. We ended up spending most of our time in the big pool chatting at the side. Sad to say, my swimming skills is not even 50 marks =( Looking forward to next Wednesday when we go swimming with Mandy :)
