TOTALLY....

Totally zombie-fied and panda-fied.

Totally shocked when I looked up into the mirror in the toilet this morning and realised I could see dark rings under my eyes without my glasses, with a myopia degree of 400 per eye and 100 astigmatism. I wasn't even in breathing distance to the mirror.

Totally understood what REM rebound is all about. Chapter 4 of Psyc intro gotta be my best chapter, with all the talk on sleep. FYI: to experience REM rebound, first, sleep 6 hours on the 1st day, then 4 hours on the 2nd, and 3 hours on the 3rd. On your 3rd night (or morning), if you wake up feeling that you have been through nothing but constant flashes of images or dreams throughout your sleep, then you have successfully experienced REM rebound. REM rebound is when you are deprived of REM sleep (when the dreams occur) the previous night, so the following night you will experience a rebound with huge amounts of REM sleep (lots of dreams). When on that night you only have a few miserable hours of sleep, those hours amount to none coz' they are taken up by REM rebound instead of the deeper stages of sleep when you get real sleep and rest. So next time you guys know...... But trust me, it is NOT the least bit fun. The dreams weren't even interesting. All I could remember seeing was lots of lines (exam booklets lines magnified?) and flashes of images. I know I wasn't really sleeping. To make things worse, a mosquito decided to have her early morning breakfast at my feet.

Totally blank today. Paper was horrible, mind was terrible. Only have myself to blame. But most importantly, I am....

Totally free now. And totally sleep deprived. Let's see how tonight's sleep will be like...

rhapsody in blue.
