JE kbox.... Needs to upgrade/maintain their equipment.

Ok, maybe it's just our luck to get a faulty room. Or maybe ours wasn't the only room that has problems.

First, the system hanged on us at about 3 or 3+pm. The staff restarted it.

Then, at 7+, the TV hanged and blanked out, but the song was still playing. We managed to get another staff to come in and helped us tune the TV back.

Shortly after, we realised..... The remote control wasn't working! And it was only after the TV was tuned back.

Don't know what's wrong lah... But seriously thought they should do something about those.


It was still quite enjoyable though. Sorry guys, I sang quite badly today haha... But HQ really has a very nice voice. Smooth and nice :) PW also not bad leh. Aunty Judy surprised me really! She got power de! Hahaha..... But feel a bit paiseh coz' we kept singing our songs and only got a few songs that she knows and sang.

It's a pity YW and WY (hey! I just realised their initials are opposites) didn't come.... But well, there's always a next time =) Just that today my long-time partner wasn't here to sing 《明明很爱你》with me.... Wanted to sing with HQ but kept forgetting to look for the song. Coz', our song list is way~ too long...

But somebody tell me if there is a decent ktv with J-pop. Lots of J-pop. Recent ones. Coz' I think both kbox and partyworld fail in this aspect. Well afterall not many people sing J-pop in Sg anyway.

I was surprised really, though. Coz', I actually saw:

1. Konayuki by Remioromen
2. Only Human by K
3. Endless Story by Ito Yuna
4. I believe by Ayaka (not really surprised at this coz' it should be quite popular with Shi Xin Hui singing the Chinese version)

Not bad! Though all the mtvs are FAKE. Except maybe Only Human, which looked more real to me. Endless Story's mtv was just scenes from Nana. Konayuki I'm not too sure.

And oh, I only knew today that there's a Chinese ver of Endless Story. Forgot the title but it's sung by Saya. Only Human also has Chinese ver but I don't know title and singer.

Something is so wrong with me today... I can ACTUALLY reach the notes for Konayuki. The song is crazily too low-pitched for me lah! But don't know why today I could reach... In exchange for not being able to reach high notes hahaz... Though I sometimes can't reach high notes too.

I think I can't sing with a mic, coz' when I hold the mic, my voice naturally can't go up.... Or maybe it's the problem of being at home alone or with others outside =p


I wish they would have NewS/TegoMass songs.... I want Kiss~Kaerimichi no love song!!

But I suppose I can only sing that at home coz' it's quite impossible for kbox to have JE artistes' songs. Unless they are very popular, like Kinki Kids, SMAP, Arashi etc. Even for them, their songs are just a few and not very recent.

Maybe I should invest in a karaoke system at home next time haha....
