自择的自责

"I secretly hope that you are going to be miserable. But even more secretly, I hope you are going to be happy."

It is precisely because you love a person so much, that you hate him/her that much in return.

It works both ways. You can love a person so much that you can't bring yourself to hate him/her, regardless of what he/she has done or what has happened. It can also be the case that you love that person so much that you cannot bear/forgive the immense pain he/she has caused you.

You may have always been doing the 1st one, but you'll never know when you'll find the 2nd outcome staring at you in the face.
