Taiwan: Day thirteen
Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:53 PM

Today's itinerary:
NO ITINERARY!!

It's just going to be a slacking day, b4 we head to 逢甲夜市 in the evening.
In a way, it's a relief for our accumulated exhaustion for the past 10+ days.

Testing out Weber's two-point threshold.

The 'antiquette' Taichung train station building near our hostel.

Fengjia night market finally!! It's a MUST-GO in Taichung!!
Even if it is like this...

I really HATE crowds and I have crowd anxiety haha. But seriously, Fengjia is worth the squeezing. That is part of the night market essence =) Of coz', weekdays would be less crowded, which isn't bad either lah. Can shop and eat with much more ease.

Despite the sea of human beings, we still managed to take a photo at some roadside.

Now... On to the FOOD!

The only time when you'll love a 贼 is when it's a 黄金贼.

Some 烤鸭卷 thingy, akin to the Peking duck we have here, but the wrap is a thicker dough like 馒头.

And this was one of the rare times I would actually swallow cucumbers.

Pork cutlet from Porky Box (猪宝盒)!!

One of the raves of the nite *loves* 4 tantalizing sauces to choose from =D

Ooh it's oozing, it's oozing!!

Top pick of the nite. Like, seriously -- a whole load of cheese in the crispy cutlet!! We couldn't resist and went back to Q for 2 more pieces XD

A usual sized bubble milk tea no longer could satisfy people. This giant sized cup container is like so common in TW =p

Damn. Blogging about these makes me hungry all over again for these yummies x.x

Now you know why Fengjia is a MUST-GO. Pls bring an empty stomach there coz' you'll prob end up wanting to eat almost every single thing on the streets.

And oh, keep a lookout, maybe you'll spot this cute little darling too XD

It's prob hard to tell from the pic, but the doggie was no longer than my forearm O.o

Dog lovers, you'll find TW a dog paradise =)
